Carla Howard

Carla began her residential real estate career in 2001, and quickly became known by her colleagues, and clients, for her follow-through, effectiveness and integrity. She skillfully navigates each step of a purchase, or sale, for her buyers and sellers, from start to finish. Described as a “real-estate matchmaker” due to her ability to listen to clients and know what they need, Carla is looking forward to using her knowledge of Sarasota and its neighborhoods and properties to better assist her clients in their property searches. Whether the client is a first-time home buyer or a seasoned property owner, Carla adapts to their desired level of involvement and knowledge base. Carla has a deep understanding of the business and legal aspects of real estate transactions but she also understands the emotional aspect of buying or selling a home and how to guide clients to the right choice, based on their combined financial and qualitative needs. Both forthright and highly discreet, Carla is a savvy broker with vast experience.
Carla is also committed to working with sellers to accomplish their goals and equally committed to finding the perfect year round or vacation home for her clients. Prior to her real estate career, Carla was employed by United Airlines as a Flight Attendant in the international capacity for 14 years, “fantastic customer service has been and still is my main priority”. Carla is originally from Texas and attended Texas A&M University.
When not working Carla can be found volunteering with Canine Castaways, from who she has adopted two Chihuahuas or with the local Boyscouts. Carla enjoys going to the beach with her two children, participating in 5k fun runs and anything to do with the beautiful Florida outdoors.
